Multi Villa Wedding :: East End St Croix, USVI
Images :: Kelly Greer
Howard and Autumn hosted their friends and family in a Chinese-inspired wedding that combined aspects of both Howard’s Chinese traditions and Autumn’s North Carolina charm.
Their dreamy day was set with the beautiful Caribbean sea in the backdrop at both the ceremony location and the reception towering atop one of the eastern hills.
Their week-long celebration also featured a fun Fourth of July pool party, complete with Reggae Band, at one of the 5 villas they rented and a casual welcome party at the Beach House. The group also snorkeled at Buck Island and toured both the Captain Morgan & Cruzan Rum Distilleries.
Autumn chose warm reds & oranges for her flowers that represented both the Caribbean sunset
& the Chinese colors of good fortune.
The colors of the beachside ceremony popped against the waters of the Caribbean.
All with Buck Island in the background.
After-ceremony Hors d’Oeuvres and cocktails were served at the Beach House bar
accompanied by live guitar.
Guests were then transported up the hill to the next gorgeous villa.
The decor featured hand-painted escort cards, table names & other fine details by SunCelebrations
The family-style meal was expertly catered and the menu was a fusion of Asian & American-style.
Autumn’s adorable cake blended both her Chinese & Beach elements perfectly.
SunCelebrations’ mobile bar always features plenty of Cruzan Rum!
The night’s entertainment included an amazing Asian-inspired performance by Kiki & the Flaming Gypsies.
